Room To Run is a 26-run boarding facility set on eight acres just southwest of High River, Alberta.
For large dogs:
Our large dog building holds 16 runs which include:
7 large dog single runs
9 double runs (designed for 2 dogs)
For small dogs:
Our small dog building has 10 runs designed to cater to the comfort and cozy appeal small dogs prefer.
For added fun:
In addition to the buildings, we have 3 well-designed, secure play yards for dogs to enjoy off-leash time.
All of our run areas are very well lit, and vibrantly painted to help stimulate our minds as well as our boarding guests! Colourful art hangs on the wall, and music is played around the clock.
In the summer, the pool is set up in one corner of the yard, in addition to the permanent sun shelters to give the dogs using that yard as much comfort and fun as possible. The “3 Yard” is another huge space, often used for daycare dogs or whoever needs extra space and a secure yard to romp in. The “Single” yard is also set up with a sun shelter for lazing on a hot day, and allows a smaller group of dogs to interact on glorious weather days.
Led by Kim Hessel, our team is great with animals and experienced in basic dog training, recognizing signs of sickness in animals, and treats each pet in our care with compassion and companionship.
Ready to book in? We tend to book up quickly for major holidays so it's best to book in early during summer, Christmas or long weekends.
